Personality:

Roxy Lalonde is a fifteen year old girl growing up in the Post-scratch future Earth, which as you could expect has caused her to grow up with a childhood most kids don't have. With the absence of any parental figures in her life, Roxy spends most of her time drinking the large abundance of alcohol left in the home and playing her old school video game consoles. There isn't exactly much else <i>to</i> do when you live in an apocalyptic mostly-underwater world ruled over by an alien sea-dwelling empress, you know? Her other hobbies are chatting with her three friends online and hacking. Roxy is very proud of her skills, calling herself the HOTTEST SHIT HAXXOR BITCH she ever knew. 

 

Along with her keen computer skills, Roxy is also very good at science! While she does come off rather unintelligent due to her way of speech/typing and airheadedness at times, this is definitely not the case. Roxy Lalonde is a very intelligent girl- in fact, perhaps a genius, and not above gloating about her skills (even with her skills that aren't science-related). She is incredibly good at scientific things, priding herself on how she specializes in ectobiology, dark fenestrology, and appearification. An appearifier is in her bedroom, which she used frequently to steal pumpkins to feed the carapacians that lived around her and once also accidentally took Jake's diary. She ended up feeling remorseful for that, though.

 

Another show of her wits is how Roxy has had very great insight on the evils of Crockercorp and their products. She's been aware of how shady the company is, and has tried to warn her best friend Jane who has always been so enamored with it (as well as the heiress) but was always met with skepticism, Jane not believing what Roxy had to say and took it more as drunken ramblings. Eventually Jane came to really listen to the things Roxy had to say rather than dismiss them as conspiracy theories, and even let Roxy show her how her appearifier works...although this led to the death of Frigglish, since she took Jane's giant Colonel Sassacre which ended up crushing her poor cat. Even still though, her theories have proven to be right multiple times now, proving just how great her insight truly is.

 

Roxy also has a fondness for felines, having many dead preserved specimens of them in her bedroom, a pet cat named Frigglish (Jaspers, to Rose), and even a pink cat as her symbol on her shirt. Roxy has cloned Frigglish multiple times, actually. Along with cats, she also really loves Wizards!

 

Through her conversations with her friends, we see many bits of Roxy's personality traits. For one, she is quite openly flirty with everyone. Along with that, she also likes to use sexual terms frequently in her typo-riddled typing. Typo-ing is a very common thing with Roxy, due to her near-constant inebriation. Not that she is <i>always</i> drunk when she typos, although! Roxy sometimes will typo during a conversation to get away with saying certain things, which is something her friend Dirk has brought up before. Roxy will commonly do this, as she did with talking about Crockercorp and her suspicions, but it always comes off like drunken ramblings to her friends because she doesn't really slip much meaning in with it. Her casual demeanor and honesty of how she goes about things really does contribute to this.

 

Even still, the drinking habit doesn't only affect her typing skills. It also causes her to fall asleep quite frequently in her pile of wizard and cat plushes in the middle of her bedroom floor (or, well, any piles most likely).

 

Even though she is a very flirtatious girl, this doesn't mean that she is actually throwing herself at everyone, she is just being her very casual self and having fun in her own way! She isn't without morals, despite how it may appear with that habit combined with her love of alcohol. It probably doesn't help that she is bored most of the time, due to the world she lives in.

 

Being there for others is also another thing is girl is great at. Or...she'd like to believe she is good at it. On many occasions she has caused more trouble than good when attempting to be helpful to her friends. Two good examples being with Jane. She pushed her into confessing her feelings to their friend Jake (which did not go over well), and even blew up Jane's computer once to keep her from playing the SBURB Alpha earlier than she was meant to by hacking it. Despite all the chaos she causes with her attempts at helping out, Roxy does still go into these actions with good intent and their best interests at heart. She even puts her friends' feelings before her own! For example she had feelings for Jake, but she put them aside because she knew that he was Off Limits because of her best friend's feelings for him.

 

Another interesting thing about Roxy is that she sleepwalks. She frequently blacks out from her drinking, which leads her dreamself on Derse to frequently leave and sleepwalk off elsewhere, causing Dirk a bit of worry.
